In patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), it improves airway patency. Additionally, Ambroxol exhibits antioxidant activity. The medication is well-tolerated, allowing for long-term use.
Sustained Release capsules of Ambroxol are recommended to be taken as follows:
Ambroxol may be prescribed to patients with diabetes mellitus.
Contraindicated in known hypersensitivity to Ambroxol or Bromhexine.
